An extraordinary project is currently taking shape at MTC Modellbau\u00ae<\/strong>: for the Gabler Group<\/strong>, we are producing an impressive USV model (Unmanned Surface Vessel) at a full 1:1 scale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With a length of 4.5 metres<\/strong> and a diameter of approximately 0.53 metres<\/strong>, this large-scale exhibit is being manufactured in its original size for presentation at EURONAVAL 2026 in Paris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Unmanned Surface Vessel as a Full-Scale 1:1 Exhibition Model<\/h2>\n

This project is far from a conventional miniature model. The USV is being produced at a 1:1 scale<\/strong>, allowing visitors to experience its actual dimensions and proportions.<\/p>\n

    For large-scale industrial and exhibition models<\/strong>, a high-quality visual appearance is only one part of the challenge. Construction, stability, transportability and integration into the exhibition stand must also be considered from the very beginning of the project.<\/p>\n

    Presentation at EURONAVAL 2026<\/h2>\n

    EURONAVAL<\/strong> is one of the world’s leading international exhibitions for naval defence. From 3 to 6 November 2026<\/strong>, companies, experts and decision-makers from the international maritime and defence industries will meet at Paris Nord Villepinte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The exhibition focuses on the latest developments in naval platforms, maritime defence systems, underwater technologies, connected solutions and unmanned systems.<\/p>\n

    For the Gabler Group, the large-scale full-size USV model<\/strong> provides an impressive opportunity to make the dimensions, design and overall concept of the system directly tangible for visitors.<\/p>\n

    Large-Scale Model Making for Trade Fairs and Presentations<\/h2>\n

    With a total length of 4.5 metres<\/strong>, this project once again demonstrates that modern model making goes far beyond conventional architectural models and miniatures.<\/p>\n

    MTC Modellbau\u00ae produces not only detailed architectural and industrial models, but also large-scale exhibition models, functional models, prototypes and full-scale 1:1 exhibits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Depending on the individual project requirements, we can integrate a wide range of features, including high-quality surfaces, original RAL colours, lighting, moving components, electronic functions and customised solutions for transportation and installation.<\/p>\n

    The USV project for the Gabler Group combines professional model making, precision manufacturing and large-scale exhibit construction<\/strong> to create an exceptional presentation model.<\/p>\n

    From Production to Presentation in Paris<\/h2>\n

    When producing a 4.5-metre-long full-scale model<\/strong>, our work does not end with manufacturing. Safe handling, logistics, transportation and installation must already be taken into consideration during the design and construction process.<\/p>\n

    The USV model will therefore be specifically prepared for its presentation at EURONAVAL, creating a customised solution that combines visual quality, technical precision and suitability for professional international exhibition use.<\/p>\n
