Interactive Energy Model for TEAG | MTC Modellbau®
We are pleased to officially announce that we have been commissioned to create a state-of-the-art, interactive energy model for TEAG Thüringer Energie. The model will be produced in the coming weeks in our premium manufacturing facility and will present innovative energy-saving solutions in a clear and visually engaging way.
🏡 A House Filled With Modern Energy Technology – Accurately Modelled
The model house will integrate several components from the world of intelligent home technology, including:
- Heat pump
- Underfloor heating
- Solar energy systems
- Battery storage
- Charging infrastructure for e-mobility
All components are designed to be precisely backlit later on. To ensure optimal integration, we are reviewing the building’s wall thicknesses and adapting them where necessary so LED wiring can be installed cleanly and invisibly.

The finished model will offer true interactivity:
Visitors can activate different energy scenarios at the push of a button, allowing them to intuitively experience how modern technologies work.
Button 1 – Heating:
- Activates heat pump
- Activates underfloor heating
Button 2 – Electricity:
- Activates solar energy
- Activates energy storage
- Activates e-car / charging infrastructure
By combining LED light guidance with a clear spatial layout, the model makes technical relationships immediately visible — perfect for trade fairs, customer meetings, trainings, and energy experience centers.
