Interactive Energy Model for TEAG Solar GmbH

Commissioned: The third premium model by MTC Modellbau® – currently in realization

We are pleased to announce that MTC Modellbau® has been commissioned to realize another high-end, interactive energy model for TEAG Solar GmbH. This project marks the third model we will implement for TEAG. The exhibit is intended for presentation in the C1 Customer Center and is currently in planning and realization.

The goal of the model is to clearly communicate the complex interactions of modern energy infrastructure—from energy generation and storage to self-consumption and grid feed-in—in an intuitive and visually compelling way.


Making energy flows intuitive

At the heart of the concept is a dynamic visualization of power flows. LED elements make energy movements visible, while a switch allows users to change the direction of flow. Visitors can immediately understand different operating scenarios at a glance.

An illuminated TSO logo on the protective cover symbolizes the sun and creates a strong visual highlight. In addition, a QR code on the model links directly to the TEAG Solar GmbH website.


Realistic components – logically connected

The planned model depicts all essential components of a contemporary energy system and arranges them in a functionally accurate way:

  • Transformer as the central hub between generation, grid, and consumption

  • Wind turbine with clearly recognizable proportions

  • Production facility (construction phase) featuring rooftop, façade, and carport PV as well as charging infrastructure

  • Agri-PV area illustrating dual land use

  • Ground-mounted PV with perimeter fencing

  • Containerized battery storage with inverters for charging and discharging operation

Underground cable routes, cardinal orientation, and landscape elements ensure technical credibility and a coherent overall appearance.


Didactics meets premium design

The energy model is designed to explain complex topics clearly—ideal for consulting, training, and customer engagement. At the same time, it meets the highest standards in materials, precision, and durability. A protective plexiglass cover, finely tuned lighting, and clean integration of technology underscore the premium character.
